To address the complexities of this ambitious project, Doka provided a suite of cutting-edge formwork solutions, including Top 50, Dokadek, Doka Eurex Props, and Framax Xlife. These systems were selected for their ability to save time and labor while delivering the strength and precision required for a high-rise of this scale.

Honoring Heritage While Advancing Progress
The Brewery District holds a deep historical significance in New Westminster, and building in this cherished location introduced unique challenges. Two Pillars Construction faced a dual mandate: preserving the integrity of the community’s heritage while meeting modern construction standards and timelines.

Doka's solutions proved instrumental in maintaining a consistent 5-day pouring cycle—critical for staying on schedule, particularly as the structure rose to its upper levels. The Dokadek system simplified assembly, Framax Xlife delivered unparalleled durability, and the expertise of Doka’s technical design team ensured seamless transitions between levels, minimizing labor intensity.

Seamless Coordination, Speed, and Safety
From planning to execution, Doka’s partnership extended beyond just providing materials. The company’s design and logistical support enabled the project to overcome potential delays and logistical challenges. Tailored plans optimized the use of each formwork system, while precise shipping schedules ensured materials were always delivered on time.

“Projects like the Brewery District high-rise embody the perfect blend of respecting history and embracing innovation,” said Gunnar Falke, CEO of Doka Canada. “We are proud to play a role in shaping such a significant addition to this community by providing solutions that enhance efficiency and safety without compromising on quality.”
