After final completion of the „Trabzon-Maçka Split Road“ the traffic congestion in the industrial zone, from which Trabzon has suffered for many years, will be mostly unburdened. Doka delivered 4 Customized Cantilever Forming Traveller for the valley directly after the 2 km long Maçka Tunnel.
Because of the very tight distance between the 2 superstructures and to avoid collitions the normally 2 beams of the Customized Cantilever Forming traveller were divided into more smaller beams. To overcome the very big cross inclination change from + 5,8 % to - 5,8 % Doka designed a detailed Engineering Concept to draw up changes of the launching rail wood and the anchor holes for each step.
