Building on a successful collaboration that began in 2023, Doka is reaffirming its commitment with a $100,000 donation and a pledge to support the construction of nine additional homes across the United States.

In 2023, Doka's initial $100,000 donation facilitated team builds nationwide, engaging over 130 Doka employees who helped construct nine homes in partnership with families in need of affordable housing. The renewed partnership for 2024 will see Doka employees once again volunteering their time and skills to contribute to the building of nine more homes, making a tangible difference in communities across the country.

Additionally, Doka is honored to be a two-time sponsor of the prestigious Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, further solidifying its dedication to Habitat for Humanity's work to build safe and affordable housing around the world.

The following Habitat for Humanity affiliates will partner on the 2024 team builds beginning in August:
- Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark
- Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake
- Habitat for Humanity of Broward
- Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County
- Riverside Habitat for Humanity
- Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver
- Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity
- Will County Habitat for Humanity
- Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity

In addition, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville will host a ReStore volunteer event, expanding the scope of Doka's volunteer efforts.

"We are thrilled to continue our nation-wide partnership with Habitat for Humanity," said Michael Kennedy, CEO of Doka USA. "Our team members are passionate about giving back to their communities, and we are proud to support Habitat's mission to build homes, communities, and hope."

About Habitat for Humanity
Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity found its earliest inspirations as a grassroots movement on an interracial community farm in South Georgia. Since its founding in 1976, the Christian housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and more than 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitat.org.
