The new Superhero of Slab Formwork debuts across the USA
SuperDek is a simple handset drop head slab formwork system. Large grid / prop spacing, up to
Typical grid pattern: 8' x 8' (64sf) & 8' x 6' (48sf)
A | Stringer: 8', 6', 5', 4', 12'
C | Drop Head
B | Joist: 8', 6', 5', 4',
D | Props: Eurex 20/30 top, Superprop, Floor prop SD-350
Maximum flexibility
Superdek stringers in standard lengths of
Versatility on the jobsite
Superdek joist in standard lengths of
8’-0”,
Faster production with less material
SuperDek drop head allows for early removal of joists and stringers for faster cycling to the next area
Optional fast wedge clamp connection for less labor when attaching SuperDek drop head to prop
Setting the industry standard for floor props
Eurex 20/30, Doka prop SD, Superprop
The right floor prop for the project means large grid dimensions, less shoring and re-shoring, less material handling, more square footage per truck and fewer crane picks.
Increased capacity, up to 13.5 kips, regardless of extension, with same lightweight design (only 53 lbs)
Best load-to-weight ratio!
Dietmar Wagner, Regional Product Manager at Doka, answers questions on what you should know about the development and success of Doka’s new handset shoring system, Superdek.
From first stable bay - erection can continue simultaneously in stringer and joist direction.
From the ground below, hook stinger into drop head and hang at 60° angle. Stringer will safely hang from drop head by itself. Take next prop with pre-attached drop head, engage with stinger end and swing up.
After pushing the beams in position, the steel shoe of the beam rests in the recess of the drop head securing it against tilting and providing additional stability.
From the ground below, hook joist into stringer and let hang at an angle. Use beam fork to push it up and move it sideways (to the left) past the opposite stringer. One person can safely install all joists, from the ground. No ladders or rolling scaffold necessary.
Safely form around the building perimeter from inside the building on the slab below. Superdek edge beam cantilevers from an interior stringer, allows the perimeter slab edge to be safely set from the ground below and maintains the drop head function of the Superdek system.
