Concremote digital sensors continuously measure temperature and transmit data wireless via 2G, 3G, 4G, or Bluetooth BLE. The concrete‘s strength gain is then calculated in the Concremote cloud, and the data can be accessed via web portal or native app.
The slab sensor 2.0 combines the sensing element and wireless transmitting unit in one device.
It is placed on top of the concrete and can be fully reused.

Reduction of the carbon footprint
During the construction of the 722-metre long rockfall gallery over the L76 in the area of Landeck castle, our customer Strabag AG relied on the use of Concremote to ensure compliance with the planned stripping time of 16 hours. Thanks to the exact data, the site manager was able to dispense with a high cement content in the concrete, avoid cracks caused by excessive temperatures and significantly reduce the CO2 footprint (saving a total of 330 tonnes of CEM II cement). Selecting the optimal concrete mix also saved 35.000 EUR in costs.
Safety in decision making and earlier project completion by 1 month
Our customer HENT AS relied on Concremote to find the most suitable concrete mix for working during winter. Luis Mendes (production manager at HENT) highlighted the benefit of the wireless slab sensors and the fully reusable cable sensors. Concremote delivered reliable data for decision-making as well as for the required documentation.
Avoidance of costly winter delays
Concreting in winter with varying ambient temperatures was a major challenge for our customer PP53. Having already used Concremote in several projects, they relied on our expertise to provide accurate concrete monitoring data on strength development for decision making.
1 day faster per cycle
Our customer A J Morrisroe & Sons Ltd was facing challenges at the Elephant Park project in terms of the concrete finish such as colour matching the different elements, different stripping times and different concrete mixes. By using Concremote they were able to find the earliest possible stripping time in different weather conditions and save costs on equipment thanks to the reusable Concremote sensors.
Safe tensioning of bridge cables
Due to the tight construction schedule and the client's high demands regarding detailed documentation, ARGE Aurachbrücke (HABAU / PORR) decided to use Concremote for monitoring early compressive strength. Significant time savings in the required documentation as well as increased safety when tensioning the bridge cables thanks to the real-time data in the web portal and app were particularly appreciated by our customer.
Time savings of 22 hours per cycle thanks to real-time data
The Grand Paris Express project is a very challenging project with complex geological formations and construction of structures under very heavy water loads and operational train lines. To speed up the cycles our customers (a consortium led by Bouygues Travaux Publics) used Concremote to monitor early age compressive strength. By using Concremote cable sensors, the users were able to strip formwork in 26 hours instead of 48 hours and thus save a lot of time.
Reduction of stripping time by 42 % due to real-time monitoring
HRSB Infrabina Sdn Bhd undertook the construction of storage silo tanks consisting of several large tanks with three castings each. The primary objectives were to prevent thermal cracks and optimise the formwork cycle while ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality. The real-time monitoring with Concremote enabled our customer to find the perfect time for stripping based on reliable records and thus save 42 % in stripping time.
5 weeks earlier completion due to reduction of stripping time by 50%
The 240 m long gallery Mingèr in Switzerland has been built to protect the main traffic route in the Engadine high valley from rockfall and avalanches without hindering traffic during the construction work. Due to the need to accelerate construction time, Bezzola Denoth AG opted to use Concremote to monitor early strength. By using Concremote cable sensors, the removal deadline was reduced by half and construction work was completed five weeks earlier than expected.
12 days saving on the project
Our customer Building Concrete Solutions really enjoyed using Concremote on this project, especially the forecast function. It was used to ensure the perfect start of stressing and thus organising the workforce as well as making sure exterior resources arrived at the site just in time. This resulted in big time savings and the use of Concremote in further projects.
Stripping time reduced by up to 50%
Our customer Strabag BMTI GmbH relied on Concremote to find the earliest possible time for stripping of the relevant building elements. Approved strength before stripping enabled the team to make safe decisions and still keep the tight time schedule. Even more, instead of 3 weeks (according to standards) cycle time per floor our customer was able to reduce it to 1-2 weeks.
Efficient utilisation of low-carbon concrete
Veidekke Entreprenor AS used Concremote to find the earliest possible time for stripping when working with low-carbon concrete in winter. The approved strength before stripping enabled them to make the right decisions when using the new low-carbon concrete (CEM III-B).
Securing a tight time schedule
Concremote allowed our customer Remax Construct to find the perfect concrete mixture for multiple casting steps as a result of the calibration. So the site manager was able to choose the right concrete strength class for higher floors and for changing ambient temperature during the seasons. Concremote not only enabled our customer to stick to his tight time schedule but also save money by completing 16 days earlier than expected.
High quality of surfaces with fair-faced concrete
To implement the ambitious new architecture in fair-faced concrete - our customer Bauunternehmen Blume GmbH (Ennepetal) used Concremote to ensure high quality of surfaces and secure the time schedule.
Society has a strong demand for a more sustainable approach of the concrete industry as such. This development is forcing the industry to reinvent itself and implement global changes in materials, cement types, concrete mixes and construction methods.
