Köröshegy Bridge

Hungary

The 1870 m long, 23.2 m wide and up to 7 m high carriageway deck, with maximum spans of 120 m, was cast in segments working from both sides of the valley. Spanning the broad valley at Köröshegy, south of Lake Balaton, this is one of the longest valley crossings in Europe. It forms part of the extension of the M7 Budapest-to-Zagreb motorway.
