This project includes 5 connection tunnels between the two 2 km long main tunnels south of the city Tirana. The connection of the cities Tirana and Elbasan is one of the most important links of the Albania´s infrastructure. Doka delivered not only the solution for the connection tunnels but also solutions for the intersections and emergency lay-by.
